My name is Dr. Jamie Phillips, I’ve been a chiropractor for 23 years. During that time I have helped thousands of patients that have been suffering from all kinds of conditions. The vast majority of symptoms originate from either traumatic injuries such as slip and falls and whiplash injuries from car accidents or they originate from repetitive stress injuries from faulty postural patterns, that means doing things such as sitting all day or doing repetitive heavy labor. As a matter of fact, I got into chiropractic myself due to being plagued with severe headaches from a head on car accident when I was in college. I was taking pain medication that would make it hard for me to concentrate on my school work, and it wasn’t really helping my head pain. I was thinking I might have to quit college. Then a friend suggested that I see his chiropractor, I was skepical, but I didn’t know what else to do. Well, as you can imagine, not only did my headache get better once I started chiropractic care, but I noticed my right knee pain (high school basketball injury) was gone too. I was so excited about my results, that I decided that summer to change my major and become a chiropractor.
